Legal information
Privacy
How we use the information you give us when booking a table, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.
01Who is responsible for your data?
The restaurant Le Dix, 70 rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, 75010 Paris. For any question: contact@restaurantledix.fr or 01 40 34 93 28.
02The data we collect
When you request a table: the date, time and number of guests, your first name, last name, email and phone number and, if you wish, additional details (allergy, special occasion, stroller…).
All fields are required except the additional details: without them we can neither process your request nor confirm your table.
To protect the form against abuse, your IP address is used in a scrambled (hashed) form that cannot be traced back to you, and erased within 48 hours.
03What we do with it, and on what basis
- Managing your booking: recording it, confirming it or not, letting you know about a change or cancellation, calling you if needed. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before your visit (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Tailoring your welcome using the details you choose to give. If they concern your health (allergy, intolerance), this is with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.
- Protecting the website against abuse (limiting the number of requests). Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
The emails you receive only concern your booking. We do not send any marketing, and we never sell or rent your data.
04Who has access to it?
The restaurant staff authorised to manage bookings, and our technical service providers, who act only on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting;
- Neon: database – European Union (Frankfurt, Germany);
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.): sending booking emails.
Notifications sent to the staff pass, encrypted, through the notification services of their phones (Apple, Google, Mozilla).
05Transfers outside the European Union
Your data is stored in the European Union. As Vercel Inc., Neon and Resend are US companies, access from the United States (maintenance, support) cannot be ruled out. It is governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023), under which these companies are certified, supplemented by standard contractual clauses.
06How long we keep it
- Bookings
- 24 months after the booking date. After that, name, email, phone number and details are erased automatically: only anonymous figures remain (date, number of guests, status) for our statistics.
- Abuse protection
- 48 hours at most.
07Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its use, restrict its use or receive a copy of it (portability). Write to us at contact@restaurantledix.fr; we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
